Sun. Land. Water | Bali

My Lovely Villa, Villa Cempaka, Seminyak

3 Bedrooms. 2 Nights

Had a gazebo right outside my room!!

The common area which was infested with mosquitoes.
It was so bad that even mosquito coils and Baygon were provided.
(But it was definitely the saving grace)

Take Note:
Please also bring your own mosquito repellent!

The pool was surprisingly clean! We expected it to be filled with leaves and dead insects!
(Haha!)

We bought these floats from Toys"R"Us in Singapore.
Great buy!

Serenity Villa, Villa Cempaka, Seminyak

2 Bedrooms, 1 Night

We had to change our villa for the last night as we extended our stay in bali and
the previous villa was already booked by someone else.
Only had 2 bedrooms but it was alot more cosy!
(The mosquitoes... AS BAD!!)

Water Sports!!!

Our Driver brought us to a local restaurant before heading to Tanjung Benoa for Water Sports!
Not exactly cheap, but it was alright!!!

Their fries are exceptionally good!

Go overseas must act yi ke wear shades! HAHA!

Went for Snorkeling and Turtle Island by the Glass Bottom Boat.
Couldn't really see anything through the glass anyways, the water wasn't that clear! We just needed the transport!

Take note:
Please check out the rates of water sports online (forums, blogs etc) to prevent
getting "TOK".

We spent about 60USD each for
1. Snorkeling + Glass bottom Boat (Actually included as an attraction! Cannot even see anything)
2. Turtle Island (Had to pay another 10000rp = 1.06SGD upon reaching)
3. Donut Ride
4. Flying Fish
5. Parasailing

Please take 3 seconds to appreciate this picture.
#iphone6photography
(HAHAHAHA!! was just fooling around)

Spot me if you can (the ugliest one, look at my hair!! HAHA! goodness!)

Take note:
Advisable to invest in a reliable waterproof phone pouch! You will be less paranoid when you are in the water!

As you can see, the water isn't clear/ clean here.
I believe Tanjung Benoa is only good for water sports!

Donut Ride
I didn't expect this ride to be that scary!!
A Must Try for water sports!!! :)
(Make sure you hold real tight or you might fly off!! I AM SERIOUS! you will literally fly off if you don't!)

Flying Fish!
Went on this when i was younger, the "Fish" didn't fly so high then!
I was traumatised after the Donut Ride, so i found this really scary too.
No safety hooks or whatsoever. Just fly HIGH in the air.

White Water Rafting - Telaga Waja River

I was told that Telaga Waja River is one of the longest River for water rafting in Bali.
14km long and it took us about 2hrs to complete!
A few meters drop near the end was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! :)

Take Note:
We paid 28USD each for White Water Rafting at Telaga Waja River
Inclusive of Lunch and Shower

Breakfast is a must! :)
Mee goreng with Chocolate milkshake! (Milkshake was bad)

Taman Bali Restaurant!

So much clearer than Tanjung Benoa Beach!

We had to disembark and walk by the side for the first dam as it was too dangerous!

Aww, he planted a tree on his head and it grew!!!!

A picture before rafting! That's our driver on the left! :)
He's really efficient, hardworking and genuine! Unlike some drivers, he did not really "push" us to places where he could earn commission! Because of this, we trusted him even more and would even ask him for recommendation to places!! If i have the chance, i would definitely hire him again.
we hired him from amazingbalitours

 Will definitely miss Bali
Till next time!

Candles. Flowers. Coke. Fireworks | Bali

Travel Essentials

First Stop : Sardine Restaurant

We took the longest time to find this restaurant. Look at how small the signboard is!!!
But yay!!! Glad that we didn't give up finding this beautiful place!! It was totally worth it!!

Just look at the padi field!!!! :) YES! It's part of the restaurant!!

Sit here if you don't mind the SCORCHING sun :)

Sardine's Lunch Menu

Grilled "Taliwang" Young Chicken
(140k Rp = SGD 14.90 )

Looks like Western style chicken chop but it definitely tastes different! :) I believe it was coated with satay sauce? I'm not too sure, but i would say that it was nice!!! :)

Address:
Jalan Petitenget, North Kuta, Bali, Indonesia

Jimbaran Bay Beach for sunset dinner!!!

I was stuck to the sand

I tried to take a "double me" panorama but my shades decided that it didn't want to stay on my smelly head.

Dinner on the beach!

Candles. Flowers. Coke. Fireworks

Best thing about Indonesia? We managed to light our own fireworks!!!!
We bought 3 big tubes (SGD10 each), we burned the ropes, ran and watched the brightly lit sky!!
Amazing experience! (I was afraid that it would blow up my face hahaha!!)  #thingsyoucannotdoinsingapore
